"We booked this as a stop on our drive from Lisbon to Madrid for a relaxing, non-city location to recharge and it was perfect! The wine tasting was wonderful and their on property restaurant was delicious. We want to return with family for a long weekend. It was a very rejuvenating experience. Try the confit leeks. They were phenomenal!"

"The beds were comfortable with nice, thick sheets. The room and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. We were greeted by a lovely man at the front desk who checked us in. This hotel is pure luxury. However, we could hear people in the next room speaking loudly, which was not appropriate and annoying."

"We had the best stay at the chalet! We were two families with 5 kids and we had plenty of room. Everything was very clean. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor table where we enjoyed all our meals together since the weather was fantastic. Plenty of cooking wear to make food at home. Grocery store (Lidl) pretty close, too. Washer in the kitchen was helpful to catch up on kids laundry and there were plenty of drying racks. Coffee maker, microwave, oven, and fridge were all in mint condition. They have a small playground right in the neighborhood, and a super big one over in town, 5 mins away. Gas station for emergency items also in walking distance to the house. The landscape is not much too look at (except the sunrise out of the window), but the house is a great place to come together and have a great time."

"Unique and interesting decor. Very dog friendly and the breakfast was great. There's a lovely Italian restaurant (pizza pizza) just down the road (not open on a Monday though). We stayed at this hotel in the way to Portugal in March and in the way back to the UK in May and we were certainly happy to visit a second time."
