Great quirky little hotel

Always stay here on our way to Portugal. Great quirky little hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast and really dog friendly. The associated restaurant just up the road is good to, good food and really friendly people.

I booked a stop-off on my way from the UK to Portugal like many others. The room and hospitality was even better than I had hoped for! The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet I had a brilliant night's sleep. Breakfast was great too - lovely toasted bread and coffee. Loved all of the motoring memorabilia on display. Thanks to all the staff - will definitely book here again!

Unique, high quality and good value Resotel.

Fifth stay for us and 2 dogs who trotted in annd stood y the lift. Arrived early and allowed into room H5 which was more a suite than a room, huge entrance hall, bathroom and bedroom. TV emerged from a cabinet at end of bed, all very modern and spotless. Dined at related Pizza Pizza were greeted as old friends by waitress, food excellent. Breakfast good.Thoroughly recommend Resotel and Pizza Pizza, very good value for money and of high quality. Rarely do we actually look forward to staying in hotels, we do here.

One night in Salamanca

From the outside, looks like a gas station. Inside it’s awesome. Car memorabilia everywhere and so much fun. Rooms were super clean and easy to use. The staff was super attentive we got there late at night and the gentleman attending to the desk was so incredibly friendly and helpful. He helped us get to the parking garage right next door and walked us to the rooms above to make sure it was all ok. Breakfast was also terrific and the ladies in the morning treated us like family. Very unique and cool property

A small, pet friendly, car themed hotel adjuscent to a gas station. Amazing attention to detail was paid to decorate the place. Easy, free street parking. Fast wifi. Continental breakfast included. Staff was friendly and eager to help and it was a pleasure having a little chat with the owner. Not much around the hotel but the Salamanca town is only 3 km away. Personal preference but we found mattress hard and pillows rather small. P.S. we dined at the Pizzapizza restaurant belonging to the same family both nights and that was a great experience too.

Great place, always look forward to going back

We use this hotel as a stop over with our two dogs going to and from Portugal. The thing is it’s such a great little hotel with friendly people running it, it’s become something we, and our dogs, look forward to. And if you like cars/racing cars then you’re in for a treat.

Gem of an hotel

We use this hotel when travelling to Portugal and back to the UK. Absolute gem of a place, we look forward to staying there and the associated Pizza restaurant (Pizza Pizza) which is a 5 min walk away is always great. We also travel with our two dogs and they are always welcomed.

Great Hotel

We stay here each year on our trip from Bilbao to the Portugal to break up the journey, with our dog. Unique quirky themed hotel, owners are lovely, the hotel also owns a good pizza restaurant in the village which it will book for you (that also allows the dog). Attached to a petrol station, which sounds odd, but it works really well and again very practical. We will continue to return here every year. A gem of a find :)

Great pet friendly hotel!

A quirky friendly hotel with lots of extras - toiletries, coffee maker, fruit If you're a motor racing fan the memorabilia alone makes it worth the trip. It's pet friendly with dog bowls and treats provided. Continental breakfast included was fine and plentiful. Pizza pizza restaurant down the road was excellent and very good value with discount for hotel residents. Dogs welcome there too. We will stay again en route to/from Algarve.

A must for petrolheads alike, conveniently positioned for heading back to Santander. Motorsport themed decor of owners experience over the years, including a old motorbike hanging over the stairs.

Mature couple on adventures around Spain

When we arrived we were met with a great welcome. Everyone was helpful and it wasn't false. Absolutely super place, super decor, super room..... Couldn't believe how good it was. We went to the pizza restaurant down the road as a recommendation and it was the best steak we have EVER had.

A shrine to motor sport.

What an iconic hotel. If you, like us are petrolheads and into motor short this hotel is truly an amazing place. A shrine to motor sport of all sorts with hundreds of photographs and memorabilia from the history of the sport. No English spoken, but that was not a problem. They recommended a wonderful local place to eat and they made us feel truly welcome.
