"This was one of the most incredible stays we’ve ever had. The views, location, and scenery were breathtaking, and the room was both beautiful and practical. We stayed in the King Suite overlooking the valley, which also had a small rooftop area offering an even more stunning vantage point. From the suite, we could see donkeys and cows roaming below, which only added to the charm and natural beauty of the setting."

"Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing "

"The property is in a secured neighborhood. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Breakfast is not included, but it’s a nice typical Costa Rican meal. A great place to stay when starting an adventure!"

The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it"
