"The property was a surprise gem. It was super clean and comfortable. The owners amazed us with all of the little special touches that many vacation rentals don’t do. From the snacks, waters, seasonings, coffee options, and even mini makeup wipes it was amazing. We also had options of games and if you bring your pets they will feel loved too with the water/food bowls and dog bed. It was a very peaceful property and you get the added bonus of watching the owners horses graze in the property...

"The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was much larger and nicer than the pictures suggest. The fenced backyard was very large, plenty of room to play fetch with our dogs, also enjoyed the front porch. "Great location on Lake Marion. Dock is set up for fishing and we caught a few big ones. House itself is exactly as described. Maybe not the Ritz, but it's Lake Marion. It's perfect for what it is. Very nice screened in porch looking out over the water. Almost a low country feel to the property and views. About 5 min from I-95 and 10 min from Santee Food Lion. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped appropriately. Great location for a golf weekend as well - plenty of decent courses...
