"Extremely happy I choose to stay here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The moment we checked in (ugh, forgot his name- started with a V) was AMAZING! Our room was perfect! Roof top bar - great view. Pessoa Hotel is in the perfect location for everything! "

"Very clean, nice rooms with superior air conditioning. Comfortable beds with nice bedding and very helpful front desk staff. Excellent breakfast buffet at their restaurant for a good value. The location is stellar, located between two main squares but only a two minute walk to each. You are in the center of everything--restaurants, shopping, sites. Lots of extra touches that are special. Free minibar in room with juice, beer and wine complementary. And cute kids toiletry kits in the room. We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon and the staff very friendly and there 24-7. Hotel is in an older building with modern decor. It has a smaller lobby and the cocktail lounge seemed to be closed but the restaurant was open early and closed late. "

"This is a well located hotel in the Chiado neighborhood. Lots of choices for restaurants and shopping. The front desk staff were outstanding in their service. This is a very quiet hotel. We will be back!"

"Friendly staff"

"Room 102 is large, spacious, and faces out toward the main street. There a floor to ceiling wardrobe with a safe for valuables, and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with toilet and bidet, however there's no lock on the bathroom door which our only gripe. It could also use a few more hooks to hang towels, but it was very clean. Despite facing the front, the main street quieted down during the night so you shouldn't be disturbed by any noise while asleep and there are blackout curtains if you want to sleep in. The location was right in the middle of everything with shops, convenience stores, bakeries, etc within seconds of walking. And generally in the early evening/late afternoon you can catch sidewalk performers from your view. We opened the windows to enjoy listening to the saxophone performer. There's an ice machine on the first floor, but it's not a large dispenser, it's a personal ice machine. Doesn't seem like a lot of people know about it since it was full of ice when we needed. But a large water bottle take up most of the ice and you'd have to wait for it to make more. Also, if you need to get around further, the metro station is also seconds away. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"This is a great location. The staff is more than willing to help you understand the Metro . They will give you directions to anything you are looking for- grocery store or Old Town. "
