"I stayed at Gran Marbella for part of my first solo trip. I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could! The hospitality of the staff was exceptional to the very end of my stay. Here's and example: The morning I checked out, I decided to grab breakfast at the hotel before driving to Portugal. I left my bags at the desk while I got breakfast and planned to get my car afterwards and head out. When I came back from breakfast, the valet had the car waiting for me out front with bags already loaded and a cold ice water in the console for my drive. He was GREAT the entire visit. They anticipate your needs and you could not ask for a better experience, especially when you are the one who is usually caring for everyone else! I am recommending Gran Marbella Resort and Beach Club to all of my family and friends and plan to make this a regular getaway for myself! "

"A wonderful BIG villa. Plenty of space if you go with friends and kids. The communication pre arrival during our stay and on day of departure was the best I’ve had. 10 mins walk into the main square and if you don’t want to do the hill walk on way home loads of taxis Lovely pool and grounds where my boys played football. We hired a car for super market runs which was very useful and we’d suggest it. Wonderful holiday and I’d recommend it to anyone "
"Great location, 5 minutes to beach, supermarket & restaurants.
Although the property is a little dated, the apartments are huge & well equipped with everything you need. Our apartment was over two floors with numerous balconies & great sea views.
The hotel is split over two sites, with separate pools, we were at the quieter site which suited us though it did mean a 5 minute walk to the main sites facilities (pool bar, gym, restaurant, reception, breakfast).
Only criticism would be the check in time (4.30pm), which is pretty late & means a bit of hanging around for a few hours!
Overall, really good & we would have no hesitation in booking again."
"If you are from Canada or US , please be advised their definition of resort is very different from UsA and Canada. Their resort is a very un all inclusive apartment that you even need to have salt and soap on your own with limited access to transportation while it is hard to book an economic car in Marbella . Very disappointed "
