Great apartment, clean and comfortable. A short walk to plenty of shops and restaurants. Indoor pool is a massive bonus later in the year when the outdoor pool is a little chilly.

The hotel isn't quite as nice as the photos show, but it isn't a bad place. A little grubby in places and the rooms are a bit tired. Bathroom and shower was lovely though and the staff were friendly.

The Property is very tiered in all areas especially the rooms and Pool area. It’s in a great location and walkable to all local amenities. The rooms and balconies aren’t very inviting and the air conditioning didn’t work well. Breakfast is excellent and front of house staff very accommodating. Unfortunately not our best choice for this location

Good property. The room was very spacious and comfortable! The terrace was very big, and the bed was very comfy. Furniture is a little aged but absolutely fine. Indoor pool was great, and staff nice and helpful!

I like look of the hotel and swimmmng pool area. Breakfast good, room was big , clean and having needed equipments. What i did not like was noise levels from the area, due to cold weather the room was cold due to one shielded windows and stone floors causing moisture inside while there was aircondition on and e.g towels was not easy to dry, only if kept in shaded balcony hole day. Room was in the position that sun was not heating it. Warm clothes and inside shoes help a bit.

The staff were great, our room (135) was huge and the facilities were good. We only used the dining facilities for breakfast and that was good. There were too many young children around the complex for our liking. We have no complaints but its not somewhere we would rush back to.

Lovely friendly hotel does not disappoint

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! It is a beautiful complex very picturesque, hacienda style. The staff at the hotel are super friendly always with a smile, the breakfast is fresh and on point. There was entertainment of an evening whether it be singers, flamenco dancers, something for everyone! Even the beds and pillows were so so comfortable in the apartment, we wanted to buy the pillows to take home but sadly could not. It is central in between Mijas and Puerto Banus, a short taxi ride, reception can call you a cab it will be there in 2 mins and it is not a far walk from the beach either around 10 mins. Very close to Beach clubs Nikki Beach, Max Beach and Marbella Beach House, which are great fun! If you have time to make use of the lovely little kitchenette in the apartments there’s a supermarket within 3 mins walk and a mini market and parade of restaurants across the road. The pool needs a little clean but that would not stop us from going back to this wonderful hotel, wished we were staying longer and we can’t wait to return!

Staff were all very nice however the 3 bed apartment we were given looked nothing like the 3 bed apartment on their website, when we asked why we were told they only had one that had been modernised, so in our view this was very misleading. The apartment was tired and in need of some work, the outside pool had cracked and broken tiles, the inside pool the same, the water in both pools we used was in our view a little cloudy, however we did not have any issues so assume it was just the chemicals used. The outside toilet had a broken door that you could not lock, we stopped for 4 nights, still broken when we left. Food was fine, prices were not too bad for both, entertainment was pretty good and again the staff involved were nice and friendly and good with keeping the kids amused. Location pretty good, quite a few restaurants and sho-s not too far away, beach only a short walk away too. Car parking was good although for what we were charged paying €20 a day on top was a bit cheeky we think.

Great location, 5 minutes to beach, supermarket & restaurants. Although the property is a little dated, the apartments are huge & well equipped with everything you need. Our apartment was over two floors with numerous balconies & great sea views. The hotel is split over two sites, with separate pools, we were at the quieter site which suited us though it did mean a 5 minute walk to the main sites facilities (pool bar, gym, restaurant, reception, breakfast). Only criticism would be the check in time (4.30pm), which is pretty late & means a bit of hanging around for a few hours! Overall, really good & we would have no hesitation in booking again.

We enjoy our stay at Ona - thought I would do a pros and cons list Cons Not great food we did half board breaksfast was ok. We were placed in another complex so walk for food was a trek especially in the morning. A little dated apartment but ok I expected it due other reviews. Need a car to get to places ie Marbella etc Limited entertainment at the complex mainly for little ones etc Pros Good hotel for primary school aged Families Big Apartment Comfortably beds Well equipped kitchen Nice pool areas, we had choice of two Food that you pay for at the bar very good. Nice place

Lovely rooms and clean hotel. Food and drink was quite poor for the value and would then need to drive out for dinner as not much locally. A good bar and restaurant for the evenings would have made it perfect.
