"Raizes de Vinha is one of the best stays we have had on our 19 days trip to Portugal. The surroundings in which the appartments are situated are gorgious. We stayed in the house that is situated at the end of the land. Therefore it was very quit and we could enjoy the silence at the fullest. The breakfast that is served by sr Matias (who is famous for his cheese) is one of the best we have ever had in our lives . It was served with 6 different kind of cheeses that were made by sr Matias...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Santa Eulália?
The best area to stay in Santa Eulália is along the main Avenida dos Banhos, particularly the section closest to the marina and the town centre.

This central area is the heart of Santa Eulália, offering easy access to the main beach, Praia da Marina, and a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Avenida dos Banhos itself is a pleasant promenade, ideal for strolls, and it connects directly to the marina where you'll find various boat trips and watersports.

Couples will find this area particularly appealing due to the array of upscale dining options and the relaxed evening atmosphere. Many hotels here offer rooms with sea views, providing a wonderful backdrop for a romantic getaway.

Families will also appreciate the convenience of staying here. The proximity to the beach means less travel time with little ones, and there are several parks and open spaces nearby for children to enjoy.
When is the best time to go to Santa Eulália?
The best time to visit Santa Eulália, Guarda District, Portugal, is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are thinner.

During late spring, the countryside is lush and green, with wildflowers in bloom. The temperatures are comfortably warm, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the natural parks. It's a great time for couples seeking a peaceful escape with beautiful scenery before the peak summer season.

Early autumn also offers excellent conditions. The summer heat has subsided, with temperatures averaging between 20°C and 27°C, and the landscape takes on lovely golden hues. This period is superb for those who enjoy cultural exploration and wine tasting, as it coincides with the grape harvest in some areas.
