Lovely hotel. Fabulous location.

Gorgeous hotel in stunning surroundings in the Sera Estrela mountains. Lovely, really helpful staff, comfortable room with stunning view of the mountains and the pool. We only stayed one night en route to Porto so were unable use all the hotel's facilities but it was so nice we almost decided to rearrange our holiday to stay for extra nights.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location.

Our stay here was perfect. It felt like we were in a rain forest and close to nature. The hotel was new and very clean. The staff were very friendly. We had some rain during our stay so we were able to enjoy the spa, suna, and gym. The village has many dining options, but it would be helpful to have a rental car.

Can’t beat the location

Beautiful hotel in amazing surroundings. Serra de Estrela is absolutely gorgeous! Would love to go back. Their jacuzzi was out of order and their spa pool has only one waterfall working, hence the 4 stars on the condition. Breakfast is quite good. One of our dinners was superb, the second dinner was so so. Service was nice. All in all I would consider staying there again. You can’t beat the location.

Beautiful property near Belmonte but unless you are going there on your way elsewhere this is not near anything else really. It's more of a destination resort. Lovely, dining was good, breakfast excellent but high in the hills. We stayed one night between Evora and Duoro. Would stay again, but maybe longer to enjoy the resort.

Desde o momento em que chegámos, fomos recebidos com uma simpatia e atenção raras. Toda a equipa foi incrível — dedicada, genuinamente simpática e com um sentido humano que faz toda a diferença, especialmente no cuidado e carinho demonstrado para com a nossa filha. O quarto era excelente: limpo, acolhedor e com uma vista maravilhosa. A comida, deliciosa. E o hotel em si, irrepreensivelmente limpo e organizado. Já estivemos em muitos hotéis, sobretudo em contexto de trabalho, mas nunca tínhamos sentido um acolhimento tão caloroso, humano e verdadeiro. Sem dúvida, uma experiência a repetir e um hotel que recomendaremos a todos os que conhecemos.

Rien à dire, c’était excellent de A à Z ! Petit déjeuner vraiment bon, l’un des meilleurs qu’on a eu, emplacement au calme et dans la nature, être au cœur de la nature depuis la piscine c’est vraiment excellent. Seul point negatif en été, la climatisation qui a du mal à se régler et qui souffle trop vers le lit donc inconfortable pour dormir, si vous y séjournez en été je vous conseille de la mettre à fond pour rafraîchir la pièce puis avant de se coucher il faut la régler à 25 voire 26 degrés et ventilateur au minimum, croyez moi il fera bien frais au réveil quand même Je recommande fortement, qui plus est l’hôtel reste à un très bon prix !

Ar condicionado não funciona bem. Não tem função automática a funcionar e a velocidades mínima é de imenso vento não permitindo que as pessoas durmam bem. O assunto foi reportado a recepção mas nada foi feito.
