"The check in closes at 9pm so I couldn’t get into my room or reach the hotel. That was scary and horrible. Once I checked in, it was adequate but nothing was done to offset the lack of warning that they’re a hotel without staff at night! "

"Room was small but efficient, great interior furnishings. There was a fridge (mini bar not free), but free coffee and tea (good quality stuff too), kettle for boiling water. Plenty of cups. Nice large bathroom. Big open lobby with a little coffee/drink bar. My room faced courtyard so no street noise. Dogs and children were allowed, so very family oriented. It's in the middle of everything, so a 15 minute walk to the top of State, and a 15 minute walk to the harbor. Every intention of staying again. "

"Dollar for dollar, this property is an excellent value. The room and grounds were clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was within walking distance to the beach. "

"This was my husband and I’s second time at this hotel and it is always such an amazing stay! Everything about this hotel is so intentional and the design is truly unique. I love how they utilize space and create an amazing calming ambiance. The staff were friendly, the check in and checkout is so quick and easy. Everything is clean and the free drip coffee was just a great addition. This is our go to stay in Santa Barbara and will always be! :)"
