"Decent hotel, rooms seem pretty fresh and well kept. Bed was firm and not ruined by years of use. I didn't see any mold nor was there much of a smell. Showers do not have doors or curtains as others mentioned - just bad design but point the shower down all the way and its less bad. Breakfast is pretty much bread and sugar so find a restaurant for hearty meal in the morning."

Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared — it was more than enough. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again."

"Extremely well located in Santa Barbara Mission Canyon very close to the Natural History Museum, Rocky Nook Park and the Mission. Easy walk to all three. Beautiful old house surrounded by very large, very old oak trees, sycamores and other lush green vegetation. Beautiful decks and patios. Excellent large private hot tub. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. Hundreds of interesting books. Very comfortable, quiet bedrooms. Close to everything in Santa Barbara. Parking on site along the street in front of the house. Owner is very responsive. A wonderful place for our family vacation: 2 grandparents; 2 parents and 2 little kids. "
