"Great location to Universal Studios Japan. If you want an inexpensive option for the area this was great. Room was not overly clean they could do a much better job on that end. Limited personal hours at front desk. Do not show up early as no one there until 4pm to check you in. Only about a 10-12 minute walk to universal which is what makes it great"

"Compared to the 2 other places we stayed in Japan, this was the biggest, size wise. There were 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundryroom attached to a shower room, a kitchen attached to a living room area with a small balcony, and a traditional style sitting room. I may highly consider making this home base for the next trip. The check-in process was a bit strange since there are no people staffing the building, but follow the email instructions, and its easy enough."

"Easy check in process. Property is close to Shin Osaka train station. Generally a nice place to stay. But a few issues in regards to the maintenance of the property. I’ve stay at Minn Shin Osaka previously in 2019 and the property was much newer at the time. This time there are scuff marks in the wall, the shower/laundry room has a strong wet mildew smell, under the bed was a lot of dust balls and dirt, scrape marks on the floorboards throughout the room. "Room was basic but fine and clean. Check in process was problematic and stressful given the access codes given did not work and two 6 year old children needing to use the facilities after a long trip. Eventually sorted, (first code didn’t work, second code likely worked but was miscommunicated) but took about an hour to get into the room which ruined our plans for the evening. Despite this the online reps were doing their best to provide assistance."

"We took this as it was closish to Universal Studios. But it wasn't particularly close to a train station and a long walk to US, so cabs were needed. It's great that this had it's own mini-kitchen, but we had been spoiled by our first hotel (one of the Minn chain) which was similar but nicer. So check out Minn hotels before you book this! "I originally booked this hotel for its proximity to Universal Studios. The property is conveniently located right outside the train station and is a few min walk to the studio gates.
