"Facility needs updating & renovation. Carpets are dirty, paint dingy & just has a very “tired” look. Staff was not friendly & very slow with check in process & did not seem to give a darn about anything. Did not acknowledge me at a Hilton Honors member. Gave me a hard time when I asked if there was availability to stay an additional night. Not helpful at all! "

"Front desk awaken me at midnight to move my car as it was invading another space. I checked and another empty space was available all night into the morning. Previously we had to change rooms as the furniture was filthy. "

"We had a terrible experience at this hotel. First of all staff is not friendly. They made us feel like they were doing us a favor for anything we would ask for. The tv was not working we complained 3 times about it and nothing was done until the day after we checked in. We asked for towels at the front desk and they said they would take them and no one ever went. We went again to ask for the towels and they said front desk doesn’t keep towels here. We had to knock on the room where maintenance keeps their supplies to get towels. Over all we paid a very high daily fee to enjoy a relax stay and we didn’t. We will never be staying at this location again."

"We had a fantastic experience staying at Embassy Suites in San Marcos. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very well maintained, which made for a relaxing and comfortable visit. The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and eager to help, which really elevated the overall experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the continental breakfast—it offered a great variety and was the perfect start to our mornings. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future."
