This place was exactly as it was advertised, but even that did not prepare me for the wonderful experience I had! It was a spacious cabin style room with a rustic wooden deck out back overlooking the river below. The surrounding area was well lit with decorative soft lights that outlined the beautiful walkways leading down to the river landing. The river landing was landscaped perfectly to match the surrounding mountainous area. Even though I live in central CA, I am going to find a way to make it out to this place again just to experience it for more than the one day I was there! I had an amazing experience! This was not a modern chain style of hotel that I stay in very frequently, and I absolutely loved it! If you stay here, expect a nice quiet getaway for a few days at least. Well done!

This property was in the perfect area and close to the friends we were visiting. Very cute and rustic but with nice features inside like full fridge and large updated bathrooms. I love that even the hotel style rooms are still more of a suite with a separate bedroom and living room. The only downside was that it would have been a bit more convenient to have some silverware/dishes in the kitchen area since there was a full fridge, sink, microwave and dining table but was more difficult to take advantage of those amenities without the little things that go with it.

Amazing property on the Guadalupe River. Modern, unique, and clean cabin/room. The staff were extremely accommodating and gave us the option of checking out late due to ice storm. Will definitely be staying here again.

Anniversary
The location was great! It is close to hiking areas like Canyon Lake Gorge Park. Also it is close to Natural Bridge Caverns and Gruene, TX. The river view is very pretty. We enjoyed having coffee and creamers provided. The coffee was good! We also appreciated the complementary wine to help us celebrate our anniversary! Our TV in the cabin kept turning on and off randomly. The maintenance person came but the issue wasn't resolved. Also, there was a big rain storm and water came into the cabin by the table next to the window. The text messages from the office really helped to keep me updated. We would definitely go back again.
