The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. It reminded me of a very nice hostel. The only downside is the street noise from cars and partyers on the street. Ear plugs help.

it's an old-world hotel (bathroom down the hall) that has somehow preserved some of its charm. I've stayed many times over the years and always found it and the nearby area safe.

I want to start by saying the custodial staff here is wonderful—truly friendly and helpful. My stay was pleasant in that regard. My main issue was discovering that the bathroom and shower facilities are communal for the whole floor. I would have appreciated this being clearly stated in the hotel's description before I booked, as it was quite an unexpected surprise. While the staff is great, be sure you're comfortable with a shared bathroom setup before you stay here.

Easy for short trips

The common areas were shared but we could always find space in the kitchen. The bathrooms and shower were clean and people were respectful of the shared spaces. Everything was cleaned daily and well stocked of common goods.

Basic accomodation with shared shower room and toilets. Sometimes people would shower for 30 min. Kitchen was great and beautiful view from shared dining table. Good central location and value for money. Several stairs so don’t come with a lot of luggage.

Good location. Unloading was a tough experience and you’ll have to walk up stairs to get to your room but the rooms are clean as well as the community bath and water closet. The bed was super comfy. I’d definitely recommend it for the price.

Love the hotel staff. They were able to make my stay important even though the maid service could do a better job with the cleaning, and wish the facilities were accessible to disabled folks who have trouble with stair climbing. Other than that I’ll be willing to stay at this property again.

Great little place if you’re looking for an affordable option in a safe neighbourhood. I was a solo female and felt perfectly safe in this area. The rooms are cute and clean. Each room has its own sink and mirror. Bathroom and showers are shared which I had no problems with. For a short stay this was perfect!
