Summary:
Just a 30-second walk to the beach, this second floor guest apartment located behind a lovingly maintained home on one of the loveliest courts in Mission Beach. Enter through the blue Dutch door to a bright and charming rental. Built in the 1930s, the dollhouse has the original wooden floors and other charming features. Two full size parking spots are a rare find. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer while staying at the Dollhouse.

Great Time in Mission Beach!

We had an awesome time at this property, just as advertised and very quite at night. Close to the boardwalk/beach and in a section of Mission Beach that is not commercial, so no noisey crowds or loud parties. We were fornuate enough to meet the owners, who were in their larger unit on the property getting ready for the season, and they were very nice and accomidating. I would definatelty stay again!

A delightful place, we'll equipped, great location!

We had a wonderful family vacation, staying here and in the main house. This was a perfect place for the rwo older generations to retreat after time in the front house with the energy of the younger two generations! What a fantastic vacation! Walking to the beach, easy drive to attractions, shopping, etc.

A must stay!

We have rented vacation homes a few times and, hands down, this has been the best! The amenities are fabulous, with almost all the comforts of home, it's clean and the location to the beach is amazing (far enough way from the loud parties on the boardwalk, but close enough that a necessary quick trip home is only a minute away). We would love to stay here again!

Great location

It was the perfect location to be steps away from the beach. Check in and communication with property manager was smooth and easy. Cozy place. Had everything we needed. Having two parking spots was a huge bonus.

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved this spot! You are just steps away from the beach, but tucked away from crowds and noise. Belmont Park and the Bonita Cove Playground are just short walks away, and our girls loved both. The property was clean and the perfect size for our small family.

Wonderful relaxation!

We were nothing but delighted to stay at the "Dollhouse" on our vacation. It was so relaxing coming from several days in Disneyland to spend the whole day on the beach. Perfect location as well. Great spot for a girls trip

My sister, daughter and I had a wonderful time! The dollhouse had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc), for cooking, towels, books, games, etc. The beds were cozy and my daughter loved the loft area! Just A few short steps to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. We absolutely loved our time here and would stay again.

Family Fun

This was a great vacation for my family. It is away from the public beach parking so there are less people. It was close to all the main attractions and there were plenty of attracions within walking distance. The places to eat were well mapped out by our host and they included all price ranges and food types. We will stay again!

This is a great little property! Literally 30 seconds walk (at most) to beach. Quiet location but only a short walk to restaurants, Belmont Park, etc. Owner and property manager were fantastic! We will be back!

Perfect little home away from home!

We loved staying at the dollhouse! The owners and property manager were both really great to work with and very accommodating! It was so wonderful having everything we could possible need to add comfort to our stay. Our kids loved playing in the loft after a busy day of exploring and playing at the beach! We would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends/family! The dollhouse will be our go-to rental whenever we are in San Diego/Mission Beach!

Great location.....

The Dollhouse is in a great spot, right near the beach, cafes, easy access to SeaWorld, La Jolla and downtown area. Be aware parking is super tight in anything above a Prius and this isn't helped by the people across the lane always leaving their rubbish bins in the street. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, it represents good value.

Great Stay in a Great Location

Our family really loved staying in the Dollhouse. The location on Mission Beach is awesome - close to tons of restaurants and just steps from the beach!! The place IS small (hence dollhouse), but we didn't feel cramped at all! My girls LOVED the loft sleeping area. They made it into their private play area and had a blast! We appreciated access to the washer and dryer and all the beach toys! I highly recommend this place and we hope we can stay there again someday!

Good spot for the fans of the beach

Being that close to the beach, one does not spend much time in the house itself. Checking in and out was a piece of cake. Parking a large SUV is a bit challenging, but doable. Beach accessories provided - very useful. Neighborhood is pretty quiet and safe. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Home away from Home!

My family enjoyed the dollhouse. It was perfect for our vacation. Close to the beach for many afternoon swims and is located close to Sea World, the Zoo, Old Town, and Coronado (the places we visted). The house was clean and well supplied. The whole experience was great. The owner provided all the details and more. We will more than likely return for more fun in the sun!

Great Value!

The wife,daughter and myself had a great 10 days in the Doll House. Well equipped, private and fairly quite for that area. There is even a cool little sleeping loft they dont mention in the ad. We come to mission beach 2-3 times a year and this has been the best value in the past 5 years! Great owners, we are looking forward to coming back in the spring. Highly recommended!!!
