"Lovely staff, nice pool, good singers. Suggestions would be to have a larger area to hang towels, exhaust fan in bathroom, pool or table tennis indoors. I still give them 5 stars overall, very happy and would stay there again. Shout out to Edna, she was lovely (as were all the staff)."

"We had a great stay!
The pool is great for the kids, access to snorkel on the beach and great food onsite.
I was travelling with just myself and my two small boys and felt super safe and comfortable the whole time!"

"Lelife is set in beautiful gardens next to the sea. I stayed in a tent that was well set out. There was a kitchen that could do with more utensils etc. The shower was hot and clean.
The food in the restaurant was very good. The staff were very friendly.
I really enjoyed my stay at Llife."

"Resort is undergoing some upgrades atm to cope with the expected influx of school holiday travelers, The rebuilt children's splash zone will be a treat once completed and the kitchen is in the process of being refit as well.
Staff and management are great and a pleasure to communicate with.
Prices for food and drinks are on par with town center so if you do not wish to travel there is that option, also there is a supermarket next door with ATM's on the outside of the building.

"Very close to airport. You can walk if you have a short stopover.
However, no kettle or cup, sheet torn, wifi password wrong, no key for door.
Staff helpful. You can buy bottled water and instant noodles.
Overall very basic"

"We felt very welcomed at Tropicana the staff were very friendly and helpful. Diana even took us around the island for the day. The kids loved the pool and kayaks in the lagoon. The apartments came fully equipped so you can cook your own meals as well. Would recommend!"

This was our first holiday in Vanuatu so was unsure what to expect. Before we left Brisbane, Bessie the Manager from Fatumaru Lodge had emailed to enquire about transfers from the airport to the accommodation - this was the beginning of our wonderful stay, we already felt welcomed and catered for. We were cheerfully and warmly greeted by all of the staff on arrival and shown directly to our beachside apartment, when we opened the French doors to the view it was breathtaking. I loved my stay at The Moso.. the setting is beautiful, and all the staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food was great, and it was lovely chatting to the other guests. I would also highly recommend a walk to Embas beach for a lovely secluded swim!

had a wonderful 6 nights at Nasama Resort. The room was more than adequate for the two of us as well as our two children. The children loved collecting shells and coral off the beach every morning, and had a great time in the kids pool. The added kitchen was a bonus, we got fruit and vegetables every second day at the market in town so no need to go out and spend money on breakfast and lunch. The staff were wonderful with us and especially the children. The snorkeling off the reef was great, our...

Just got back from a 5 night stay for our honeymoon. Couldn't fault our visit. The grounds and room were immaculate. Staff were amazing. Special mention to John Paul who looked after us so well. Highly recommend the day spa and the beach side massages. Try out the pizzas by the pool - divine. Intend on coming back next time with the kids!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom beachfront unit in March 2017. Unit is right on beach in a quiet location. Your view looks out over Mele Bay and Hideaway Island. There is a Café/ bar poolside and the ladies their serve excellent cocktails! Also a beach bar restaurant just 1 minute walk down the beach from apartment that has an amazing Fire Show every Friday night! My family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Erakor Island for 8 nights in January 2023. The resort is on its own island, which is a 5 minute free ferry ride from the jetty in Efate, which itself is about a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Port Vila.
The island is stunningly beautiful, with crystal blue waters surrounding the coconut and palm jungle. The resort is very low scale and laid back - accommodation is in a series of detached buildings scattered around the island, with shared...

Hideaway is like a home away from home to me. I have now stayed there ten times over the past thirteen years. It is one of the few holiday destinations that I find totally relaxing. Hideaway Time is my time!

Loved everything about our stay! We only had five nights. Wish it had been more. Anne, Petter and staff were so welcoming and the care and small touches make it a special place. I did my PADI recertification while I was there. So pleased to be back diving again. If you want wonderful snorkelling straight off the beach, home-cooked meals using fresh local produce, an intimate setting, clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation and a chance to experience the real Vanuatu this is the place for...

My partner and I stayed at Cocomo from the 2nd to the 8th of November and couldn't be happier with our stay. For starters, we were upgraded to the waterfront villa due to small construction taking place at the pool deck. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and always happy to field any questions we had. The restaurant was also a major hit as my coeliac / gluten free girlfriend was well looked after by the chef. The manager felix was great with helping me book all our tours...

I stayed at Breakas with my partner for 5 lovely nights which unfortunately came to an end but we left knowing that we'll definitely be back.
On arrival we were impressed to be greeted with a drink and locally made shell necklace before being shown to our beachfront Fare. We were in Fare 5 which was right next to the restaurant so had some trepidation that we may be kept awake by noisy diners but that wasn't a problem at all. As Breakas doesn't allow kids we found that everyone was there for...

The Mangoes resort exceeded our expectations for our 5 night stay in Port Vila. The grounds were lovely, the bungalows very well kept, the views were amazing, and the staff were always very helpful. The dining was very good quality and at a reasonable price. Mangoes is situated far enough away from the loud and busy main town centre to be quiet at night, yet close enough to walk easily to shops and other restaurants. All the bus drivers know the resort and because it's still in the township of...

We stayed here before moving onto a resort, however Pacific Lagoon Apartments was half the cost of the resort and my family agrees we liked it better.
The reasons we liked it was everything was there, you can kayak across the lagoon to an expensive resort and hang out there for the day, snorkel in the lagoon, catch a ride into town with a local cheaply.

As a couple who have spent most of their lives travelling for both work and pleasure, we know a great hotel when we see one. Great staff providing great service - well above and beyond - particularly Monith Kumar on the night of the storm. Beach bar close - great Thai restaurant just up the hill and a very relaxed feel. Loved the rooftop kitchen/bar which provides a view that is unsurpassed. Monith’s curries cannot be missed….To quote a very famous actor…. “We will be Back!”

Poppy's was an excellent choice for a long (8 night) stay in Port Vila. It was perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, yet still an easy 10 or so minute walk away. With complimentary kayaks and snorkelling gear for use in the lagoon it was on. The staff were also extremely attentive and lovely, and always greeted you with a smile and asked about your day. The resort also thought of all the little details to make a stay enjoyable - reef shoes, pool towels, umbrellas...

The breakfast is basic but satisfying. The pool is huge and a perfect temperature. The rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. We had an aircon room which made things a bit more comfortable at night. Most people staying there seemed to be business people which meant a lack...
