The hotel is ideal for relaxing by the sea. The buildings are smart and enhanced with artworks. The villa and dining room are lovely, with views over the water. Food was a good standard. The bedroom was the weakest part - rather ordinary, and located in barracks around the grounds. Great value overall.

Relaxing after hard hiking

The only thing I can give a feedback is dusts on bed clothes. It's not kknd of dirty point of view, but people who is allergic will sneeze all day. The rest things are perfect. Nice location, private swimming area, many activities. A strong point is the area is spacious, so you won't feel crowded at all. On top of that, all staff are really nice and helpful!

Great and relaxing stay. Wish I had extra time in the morning to enjoy there deck and my coffee. But had to leave early for airport drop off. Also, the young gal working that morning was great! I was early, but said I could grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the deck. Explained I had to drop off rental car in a few hours and allowed me to eat my breakfast a little earlier and prior to official opening. Great customer service.

Perfect to the archipelago

Vår Gård is situated to perfection close to the water. The ground is huge and you can always find a spot to see the water, hide for sun og enjoy the sun and bath. We had the small rooms and they are fine for a couple of days as there is limited space for storage. For longer stays you have to pack with a few things. Breakfast is very nice and meals in the restaurant are delicious. Recommend boulablaise if on the menu. Parking is free, sauna is free and you can take the train to Stockholm just outside the hotel.

Unique: accomodation close to the waterside. Quiet surroundings. Beautiful interior of the original villa. Point of improvement: gluten-free pasta was out of stock in the kitchen and at least on this occasion it took some doing to communicate and have a gluten-free option for dinner. We did get there in the end, so problem solved.

Spectacular, but not so comfortable

Conference hotel disguised as boutique hotel. Spectacular location and common areas hosted in a old castle. The rooms are located in several buildings my single room was tiny and not very clean (I had a 30cm wide spider net at my window). With a single not so large towel and a very small one you are supposed both to shower, enjoy the SPA which has a very poor atmosphere (no candles, no flowers, no snacka or tea facilities). Check out is at 11 A.M. which would be ok in a hostel, but its unforgivable in a 4 star hotel. Late check out are charged at an extra fee as well as extra towels. The cocktail bar is amazing and offer spectacular views of the Baltic Sea. Such a pity that the music is so loud everywhere. sounded more a discotheque rather than a cozy place to relax. Breakfast is great with a handpicked selection of products and a great view.

A tourist trap

We did get a room in the side building, not shown on the website. It was old and more like a hostel. We paid more than sek, 1500,- for the room, and it was not at all worth the money. We were so disapointed , we do not expect a hostel with a tiny room when they charge sek 1500,-

This is an amazing place, waking up to the view over the water is just so beautiful. Your get the tranquility of the country side, just a quick 20 min drive from the center of Stockholm
