"I love staying here normally and I had high hopes for my first visit since the property was refreshed. The new paint, wallpaper, carpets, and color schemes is perfect, and my King water view room was everything I wanted. *EXCEPT* that when I checked in at 4:15 and asked for a ground floor because my currently-disabled mom wanted to visit (she lives in town) and this hotel doesn't have an elevator. I was told that would be no problem, but that rooms are not ready yet. I get it, that happens, and they would call me as soon as it's ready. I had some food in the lounge restaurant, and went back to the front desk at 5:15. Unfortunately, somehow there was no longer a ground floor room available. On a Tuesday, and the parking lot is mostly empty, so my mom didn't get to visit with me and enjoy a nice view. I'm probably going to stay there again as it's my fave hotel in my former hometown, but if I ever need anything not usual, I'm going to be double and triple checking, otherwise it's a nice place. "

"The place is listed as ‘one bedroom’ but it’s a studio. It was a bit tight for us 3, and the bunk bed was very rickety so no one was brave enough to sleep there. Everything else just like described. Amazing view on the lake."

"Best of the best! Class and comfort! Having operated a high end waterfront vacation rental, I know how difficult it is to achieve perfection in every detail, but we found it here! The entire top floor of a two story house (no one lives underneath), it has a wall of windows plus a deck from the primary bedroom and skylights to brighten the space. You can’t find a home closer to the fabulous long walking beach and breaking waves. Beautifully furnished, spotless, everything you need in the kitchen, very comfortable beds. And even dog friendly! It’s only 15 minutes from Port Angeles with its restaurants and other amenities. I have already made reservations to return!"
