"Exceptional Stay at Bougain Villas – Koh Phangan We had a wonderful stay at Bougain Villas in Koh Phangan. The property is spotless, extremely well run, and beautifully maintained. Trust me when I say this—I’m fussy when it comes to cleanliness, and this place exceeded expectations. The people truly make this place special. Every staff member is kind, gracious, and genuinely goes out of their way to help. One of the lovely reception ladies even drove my husband to the pharmacy at the last minute, an act of kindness we won’t forget. The location is excellent, just a short walk down the path to Salad Beach and nearby restaurants. A special shoutout to Salad Hut, which is hands-down the best amazing food and incredible service. Thank you, Bougain Villas, for welcoming us so warmly and making our stay so comfortable. We wish you an incredible and successful 2026. We would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Phangan."

"We arrived as a couple with two teenage girls and booked 2 villas. This was our fifth time in Haad Yao, but our first time staying at this hotel — and it did not disappoint! The surroundings are amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered beautiful sea views. Room service was efficient and convenient. Breakfast was excellent — delicious and varied, a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location. 🌴🌊"

The area is a bit quiet, which is nice, but transportation is limited if you don’t rent a car. Breakfast was very good, and overall the service was excellent. "Absolutely love this resort! This is the second time I've stayed here - this time bringing my partner for her 30th birthday. The pool is lovely and it's great that it's open late. Having your own little hut is really nice and I loved that there's a hammock on the decking! The staff are lovely, food is lovely, bar is lovely - honestly just a great stay, and INSANELY good value for money. The only downside is that the room doesn't have a fridge or air con so we did overheat a little - there's only so much a fan can do! There also isn't much in the way of storage like a wardrobe or cupboards - but for what you pay you really can't complain!"

"Nicest staff ever! Pool is beautiful and big, our poolside bungalow was also very spacious, the grounds are nice and the beach is a couple minutes walk. They cleaned our room daily and the breakfast included delicious Burmese food with western cuisine. We enjoyed a small beach party as well, every Wednesday. "

"Even before arriving at the villa the communication with Eim was excellent, advising on local restaurants to book for a family birthday. The villa itself did not disappoint and was fantastic. In particular a mention to Eim for his excellent communication and availability to assist during our stay. We hope to return one day!"
