"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "This was clearly the nicest place we stayed on our bike trip from Carcassonne to Sete. The host couple, Natalie and Sebastien, could not have more welcoming or helpful. Their quiet little chambres de hotes is very close to the Canal du Midi path and very relaxing. The swimming pool was a delight after a day on the bike and they served us beers poolside (extra charge). Their extremely friendly pup, Violette, was an unexpected delight. "An excellent holiday in this wonderful home. Everything was as described & the house has all the facilities you could need. The pool was excellent, and the house managers ensured they kept it running as we needed it throughout the week. The village is brilliant - and what you can't get in the village is available nearby. The wine tasting at the various Châteaux is not to be missed. The house was brilliant for our group 7 adults and 1 child and there was enough space for us all to be able to spread out and have our own space as and when we needed it. A fantastic holiday!"

"Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie für 2 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, genau wie auf den Bildern. Der Check- in verlief reibungslos, es gab genug Möglichkeiten zu parken. Der Pool in Verbindung mit dem erholsamen Außengelände hat uns besonders beeindruckt. In Capestang gibt es diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Strände und Ausflugsziele sind innerhalb von 30 min erreichbar. Vielen Dank an die netten Gastgeber!"

"Wonderful French chateau with a wonderfully friendly staff. We extended our stay here due to the charm and ambience as we head to Spain for the eclipse. The room is perfect, with the best bed we have experienced this trip and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was also great. Spectacular value for money. I highly recommend a stay here."

"Just back from a wonderful week spent in Maison Quarante. The villa far surpassed our expectations. With 19 guests the villa was under no pressure whatsoever. Each bedroom had its own en suite with some even having baths as well. There were portable AC machines in most rooms and fans in some as well, although a couple of those did not work. However the villa was not unbearably hot as the windows were large and allowed plenty of fresh to circulate There were many rooms in which to relax and the garden and pool area were superb. Add to that the table tennis , boules , badminton rackets and playing cards , piano, guitars and ukulele and we certainly had no reason to be bored! We used the kitchen extensively and the fridges and freezer were a great help. The ice machine was a little temperamental though but we survived! The other area for special mention has to be the sun rooms at the end of the garden. With subtle lighting , a fire pit, a huge barbecue and soft seating as well as three large tables and about 20 chairs we spent many nights there talking and of course having a couple of glassss of wine and beer.The local Bar Quarante was a very short walk from the house and we ate and drank there many times over the week, special mention to Diego who was a wonderful host every time we visited.All in all we could not have had a more enjoyable stay in the most wonderful villa. Charlotte was on hand at all times to ensure we wanted for nothing. Would rate this 10/10"
