"Well located for the port and restaurants. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Bed was the only problem - we found that a double bed is too small for 2 adults of small to medium build. Otherwise the stay was comfortable."

The decoration, especially in the corridors, was a bit tired and jaded- but kept very clean. My only criticism would be the proximity of the hotel to the busy main road- which could be heard very clearly from our balcony/ garden terrace. "

"Great night at this lovely family run hotel in Barcares on our cycling trip through the area. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and had enough space for spreading out all our gear. We faced the main busy plaza overlooking the most amazing play structure for children. The noise was not a problem after about 10 PM and we used the blinds metal blinds, which helped. Our hostess even had a secure area for our bikes, very much appreciated. Thank you. We also loved the hotel's furry greeter...

"The restaurant and pool area are very nice and conform to the pictures. Our bedroom was small, the bath comically tiny, no window covering, although it was facing the street and parking lot. The only way to have privacy was to close the curtains which left you in the dark. No mirror in the bedroom, only the very small one high up above the sink "

"We stayed one night in Lotus room with my daughter. The hosts are supper welcoming. Swimming pool is small but vey pleasant. The landscape around the house is a piece of art. 15 min drive to Colliour. Also a local ville Sorede is very close small picturesque and very French. Nott easy to find parking after 7 pm in Colliour. Parking on the property is easy. A few minor points for improvement. Bugs and mosquitos: bring a spray. "Excellent food both at breakfast and in the lovely restaurant. Both rooms have incredible sea views which we greatly appreciated. The spa and the outdoor therapy pool were nicely appointed. Our massages were arranged on our arrival and were perfect. We were there on cool overcast days so we didn’t take advantage of the beach directly across from the hotel. But it was tempting. They made us and our dogs welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay at La Elmes. "
