Cocoonr offers you this charming 67 m² duplex apartment for rent in Saint-Malo, 200 meters from the Sillon beach, with wifi, which can accommodate up to 6 people. Located on the 4th floor (with elevator), it comprises an attractive 25 m² living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a mezzanine with study area, and a bathroom (with shower). Housekeeping is included in the rental price, and 4* hotel-quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels). Your bed will be made up on arrival.
The accommodation is composed as follows: - A 25 m² living room with TV area opening onto a pleasant south-facing balcony. - A fully-equipped kitchen including electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob... - Separate WC First floor: - a large mezzanine with study area and BZ sofa bed - bedroom with queen-size bed (160x200) - bedroom with double bed (140x200) and single bed (90x200) - A bathroom with shower, WC and towel dryer.
For even greater comfort, you'll find a fan, ironing board and iron, and a cot (on request when you book, we can install a cot for your baby). For safety and hygiene reasons, we don't provide mattresses, apart from the one already included with the cot. Feel free to bring your own if you'd like one).
Outside: - A south-facing balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the sunny days and the view of the port.
In the Sillon district, you're just a block from the main beach on foot, and also close to all amenities: supermarket 400 m away, bakery 500 m away, Rocabey market 300 m away every Thursday and Saturday, Intra-Muros historic center 10 minutes away along the Palais des Congrès and Espace Duguay Trouin, and the Thermes Marins de St Malo 15 minutes away.
Numerous bars and restaurants in the vicinity, such as the Dock sur les quais, a loft-style bar-restaurant with an industrial decor, which organizes evening matches or concerts, or the 1934 restaurant with a Comedy Club room and an unobstructed view of the basins. La Cabane sur les quais offers a seafood buffet. Tombelaine Coquillage offers the finest seafood platters to take away. Intra-Muros and chaussée du sillon offer a wide range of restaurants, some of them right on the waterfront. Go and admire Saint-Malo from the top of the Ambassadeur Hotel with its Rooftop (hotel rooftop bar).
Activities : A former corsair town, the fortified city of Saint-Malo is built on a rock. With its magnificent ramparts, it offers a magnificent panorama of the sea and the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. A walk around the ramparts is a must, but neither is the city of Robert Surcouf and Jacques Cartier, with its picturesque cobbled streets, wealthy shipowners' houses and château, whose keep houses the Musée d'Histoire de la Ville et du Pays Malouin. In Saint-Malo, you can watch live the high tides or the start of the Route du Rhum, reach the Fort National at low tide, built according to Vauban's plans, discover Chateaubriand's tomb on the Grand Bé islet, tour the Bay of Saint-Malo on a promenade boat...
Transportation : If you choose to come by car, there is paid street parking, but you can park for free in the Boulevard de la Tour d'Auvergne parking lot.
For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful: - Bus: “Duguay Trouin” bus stop served by lines 2 / 3 / 8 / 9 at the bottom of the building. - Nearest train station: about 10 minutes on foot or by taking bus lines 2 or 8. - Dinard airport: 25 minutes by car - Rennes airport: 70 km to Rennes St Jacques - Ferry to Portsmouth, Jersey and Guernsey, at the ferry terminal located 25min walk from the apartment or 5mn by car.
