"This is a nice resort. However the staff could be a bit more helpful and friendly. But overall I would stay here again. Michelle at the pool bar was super friendly and her service was 2nd to none. I would also like to add I loved the positive messages that housekeepers left on the bed after each room cleaning daily. They were uplifting."

"I was fortunate to get a room facing the pool. I liked the idea of getting wet during the night when all was quiet. Best stay at a hotel so far. The staff members were top notch, helpful, professional and ready to assist day and night. My stay included breakfast. Continental style with local Jamaican optional. Met the staff each morning with a smile. Ate dinner once. It was a miss. Better hitting the strip for local food hit the spot for me. Thank you Jannet for serving those great breakfast meals. The hotel is in a great location that is not far from shopping and excursions. Parking was great and secure 24/7. Ten out of ten."

"Miss Laura was excellent in her correspondence- After booking, I was informed immediately with a detailed email with all of the important information I needed to know about Polkerris and our stay. My partner and I are of Jamaican parentage and it really felt like we had returned home. The room was excellent with a beautiful sea view. The AC cut through the humidity like a knife through butter. Breakfast was so good. Miss Elaine (Laura’s mom) I clearly had to adopt. The choices for the food she prepared were really nice. She even made modifications and responded to requests! We will definitely be back."
