Everything went pretty well. Only area for improvement is the response time to room requests and there was a bit of the run around when trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter's hair. I would recommend this resort to someone on a 4-star level, since I am not quite sure it rises to the 5-star level quality service one might expect. Likely wouldn't return.

The resort was nice. A lot of construction going on when we were there in the main lobby. Had to go to the nurse one of the days because I stepped on a sea urchin and the nurse was very helpful. The resort it self was nice and the food was acually not bad at all. The buffet was good and the al la carts were okay. Definitely do the Hibatchi.

I have zero complaints! Amazing resort, so many restaurants/places to eat, gorgeous beaches (MORE THAN ONE), room service is amazing (for cleanliness, didn’t order room service), activities were top tier!

The room was clean, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping service that maintained its freshness. However, my excitement was quickly dampened by the fact that the hotel did not deliver on the promise of an ocean view room, which was particularly disappointing considering the premium price we paid for it. It seemed to be a common complaint among guests, as many were frequently shuffled between rooms without any improvement in their view. The culinary offerings were another letdown; the Jamaican cuisine was scarce and disappointing, lacking the vibrant flavors and variety one would expect in Jamaica. Furthermore, the hotel's ambiance did not have any Jamaican aesthetics or cultural elements that could tell a story of the island’s rich heritage. The bar was poorly stocked, running out of both wine and pina coladas, which added to the overall frustration. Shopping at the gift shop was no better; they had exorbitant prices, with sunscreen priced at an astonishing $32.00. My experience fell far short of the 5-star rating I had anticipated. Additionally, I found some staff members to be overly aggressive and lacking in basic customer service skills, which made for an uncomfortable environment. However, amidst the challenges, Nicohle stood out as a shining beacon of positivity. With her warm smile and prompt assistance, she truly made a difference during my stay. I will not be going back to Ocean Eden Bay, as I did not get the experience of a luxury hotel in Jamaica offering.
