"Pleasant 1 night stay at a hotel with lots of local naval history."

"A lovely stay at a really impressive hotel. The hotel is stunning, it’s right on the seafront with free parking. The grandeur of this building is impossible to ignore. Our room had a sea view, it was quite small but perfect for one night. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely book here again. Thank you 😊"

"The staff was excellent. The room I had was very dated, but clean. Again the bathroom was a bit dated and could have had a shaving mirror. The shower is very strong and loads of very hot water. The breakfast was excellent and very filling. "

"Breakfast looked fantastic but did not have time as leaving..wouldnt let me avoid answer on here but did have a dinner night before which was quite good with very friendly staff. Very nice stay here."

"Room ok, but peeling paper above window and broken window catches and broken lamp shade by bed (window side). Bathroom needed a plug for the sink, mould on ceiling above the bath/shower and mastic should have been removed from the tiles (near sink and over bath) where soap dispensers had been removed. No brandy at the bar. Chips supplied with meal were luke warm (nobody came to ask if things were OK). Had to ask for full breakfast to be reheated. Stayed here before, so rather disappointed this time. Will stay here again - as this may have been a one off."
