"Just come back from a wonderful week stay at this Roffey property. Exactly how it was described and perfect for our dads 70th birthday treat. 6 adults and 2 children , plenty of space, pool and hot tub made it extra special . It was also a great location for visiting Chablis and many other picture perfect villages. The host was always helpful with any questions and replied promptly to any messages. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds. Generally well equipped but no top sheets were provided to replace duvets during the heat wave we experienced. Also very surprised to find that there were no cushions for the plastic patio chairs. "This accommodation is owned and managed by a couple who understand the needs of their guests and they go out of their way to try to accommodate your needs. Having said that we had as little or as much contact with them as we needed. In our case we were seeking a quiet week away from 'tourist land' where we would be comfortable and undisturbed. This we achieved. The accommodation we stayed in while next to the house and joined to it by an arch (great for keeping the car cool and out of the sun)...

"We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."

"This apartment was well situated to easily walk through Chablis. It was very clean and had good amenities. No breakfast is served; but we picked up berries, yogurt the night before, and walked to get baguette/pastries in the morning, as the French do! This was a very quiet place to stay, despite being on a main road in town. This is definitely a place to stay! "
