"This place is a step back in time, vintage, cute,charming. The owners take a lot of pride in this property and have updated and keep the property up very very well on the outside and inside.The door locks are very secure and a nice touch entry instead of a key card. It was a great price. Pleasantly surprised about that. Got more than we paid for. I feel like on top of that, breakfast was free and very yummy! Highly highly recommend."

"Great motel right on hwy 50. 6 minutes to downtown Salida. Bathrooms have been remodeled with nice towels and shampoo and soaps. "

"The room was very spacious and clean. Finding a place to stay as a family with 4 kids isn't always easy, but our room had a king bed, pull out couch/bed, and full size bunk beds. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be staying here the next time we come through. Only complaint was that it wasn't ready at check in time, but the staff was very nice and reassuring while we waited. The strawberry waffles at breakfast are just the icing on the cake for this hotel!"

"The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders. One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension cord. Overall, we would definitely stay here again."
