"The rooms can use a few touch-ups such paint touch-ups, better lighting (room was very dark despite all lights being on), windows still had noticeable gaps despite being “closed” completely, and better curtain coverage in bathrooms. Otherwise, staff was amazing-10 out of 10! They were all so friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was amazing as well! I ordered room service every day. The property grounds were immaculate- I always saw staff cleaning and sweeping the property nonstop. Both rooms I stayed in (Thankful and Dream) were nicely decorated and spacious. Location was great too- right next to monkey forest, about 10-20 min drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown depending on traffic. Just be careful of monkeys appearing on your balcony if you decide to eat/drink on the balcony. Overall, a great peaceful experience! "

"This was an absolute haven in a crazy busy city. Though on the expensive side (you get what you pay for and you get A LOT), I can’t find one thing wrong with our stay. Beautiful accomodations and the private pool was actually private. Some people say that the private pool accommodations around Bali aren’t what they seem because while you only have access to the pool, people can actually see you in there from their rooms. This was not at all the case at this hotel and it was completely secluded from all other guests. Bonus points to the many monkeys that visit from the neighbouring monkey forest! We were considering going to the monkey forest, but found we didn’t even need to because they came to visit us at our hotel! Restaurant was 10/10, food was amazing, staff were amazing, and the view was amazing. Also cannot stress how quiet and peaceful it was. The pictures online definitely don’t do it justice one final thought, during our checkout they noticed we were leaving too early to have their complementary breakfast so they arranged for us to have takeout containers on the road!"

"We loved Alaya resort so much that we extended our stay longer than expected! It’s a great location in the heart of Ubud, walking distance of shops and restaurants. The resort is beautiful and the pool is tucked away in the back, allowing more privacy from the busy streets. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond. Highly recommend staying here! "

"Love the Anumana. Perfect location for walking in to central Ubud where the markets/palace is. Several routes you can take to change it up and lots to look at on the way. Many quality restaurants/cafes on your doorstep. Coco supermarket at the end of the street for snacks etc. Highly recommend :) "

"Had a little staycation in Ubud since I sadly got sick after travel, and really enjoyed my stay here! I wasn't able to book a massage for the day we arrived so recommend booking as early as possible. Besides, the location is great so there are tons of spas, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Staff is friendly, breakfast options were good, and bed was very comfortable. A/C in room and nice shower and bath tub. Recommend!"
