"This was an absolute haven in a crazy busy city. Though on the expensive side (you get what you pay for and you get A LOT), I can’t find one thing wrong with our stay. Beautiful accomodations and the private pool was actually private. Some people say that the private pool accommodations around Bali aren’t what they seem because while you only have access to the pool, people can actually see you in there from their rooms. This was not at all the case at this hotel and it was completely secluded from all other guests. Bonus points to the many monkeys that visit from the neighbouring monkey forest! We were considering going to the monkey forest, but found we didn’t even need to because they came to visit us at our hotel! Restaurant was 10/10, food was amazing, staff were amazing, and the view was amazing. Also cannot stress how quiet and peaceful it was. The pictures online definitely don’t do it justice one final thought, during our checkout they noticed we were leaving too early to have their complementary breakfast so they arranged for us to have takeout containers on the road!"

The entire staff treated me like family throughout my stay, making every interaction a delight. The property is stunning—the pool is amazing, surrounded by lush gardens that back up to a serene rice field. I loved waking up to the sights and sounds of nature: birds chirping, butterflies fluttering, and even the occasional lizard adding to the charm. It’s a perfect blend of tranquility and beauty. My room was spotless, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, keeping me cool and comfortable. I treated myself to an in-room massage, and the therapist was incredibly skilled— I slept like a baby afterward! The location is ideal for exploring Ubud. I walked to Yoga Barn every morning, and there’s a fantastic health food store just a 2-minute walk away, plus an ATM and a larger grocery store within 5 minutes. I can’t recommend Hotel Byasa enough for anyone seeking a peaceful, welcoming, and well-located retreat. I’ll definitely be back!"
