"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay — A True Hidden Gem Relais Villa dei Gelsi & Spa was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everything about the property felt special — elegant, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and incredibly welcoming. The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous, with so much character and attention to detail. It has that perfect balance of authentic Italian charm and understated luxury. The surroundings are beautiful and serene, making it feel like a private retreat while still being perfectly located for exploring the area. What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the hospitality. The service was warm, personal and genuine — the kind of attention that makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than simply a hotel customer. Nothing felt forced or overly formal; they simply know how to take care of people. We travel quite a bit and stay in many beautiful hotels, but Relais Villa dei Gelsi & Spa is one of those rare places that leaves an impression. It has charm, elegance, tranquility and, most importantly, heart. We would return without hesitation and absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay. A wonderful discovery and easily a five-star experience for us."

"Upon arrival one thing was clear: the love for wine and hospitality. Modern architecturally designed clean guest rooms in an annex to the villa with a nice bed and nice linens were very inviting. A wonderful wine tasting and recommendation for a local restaurant made our stay one to remember. The breakfast buffet was great eaten outside."

"There was 11 of us who recently stayed at this property which ranged from 5yrs old upwards. From the start we found the host extremely helpful leading up to arrival and helped arranging our transfer from the airport. Once there Nicoletta gave recommendation of where to get food and was close by to help us plan our stay. We celebrated a birthday at the house and Nicoletta offered to cater home cooked Italian food which was amazing and reasonably priced. The location was excellent and easy to catch local buses into Verona. Took less than 15 minutes to get drop off at edge of the city and a pleasant walk in. The house it self was amazing with plenty of bedrooms to accommodate a large party without feeling someone had to compromise. It was clean and had everything you would need to accommodate a large group. We do feel a floor might help due to the layout of the property so people can forward plan their stay. The pictures of the pool don't do it justice and have stayed in hotels with smaller pools. The eating aera outside was fantastic and could fit us all round the table comfortable. Would recommend having plenty of mosquito repellent when out at night. The upstairs kitchen does take a bit of teamwork as there isn't a lot of space when cooking but can make it work. While staying in Verona, would recommend visiting the local Vineyard for wine tasting and nearby restaurants where great. I wouldn't hesitate in going back and dealing with the host. Verona is a beautiful place to be."

"The property is located not far from Verona, but you feel as if you are miles away from the city. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Everything is perfectly clean. The breakfast is fantastic. If you want to spend a few peaceful days away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. If you want to visit Veron it is only 15 mins drive from this property so you can't make mistake whatever is on your minde,"

"The Villa was in an idyllic setting with beautiful views and property grounds, the host uses WhatsApp to communicate prior and during the stay and upkeeps the gardens and house well. The property has not only air conditioning throughout its entirety it is clean and well maintained. The kitchen and dining area in the garden is well equipped with a well thought out approach. The pool was clean and looked after and comes with a robot to help you clean it while you stay. I recommend this to all who wish a base to visit Northern Italy."

"Nice welcome! Good reception staff. But the room could be better equipped by including a kettle and coffee/tea options - the stuffs that we find in other hotels. Breakfast is average and the staff could be trained to be more welcoming (some lessons to learn from the reception staff). The ladies at the reception helped in planning our stay and the things to see/do which were helpful. Overall a good option to stay with family."
