Great hotel with mediocre management.
Me and my wife booked two nights in this hotel and drove 800km to get here as little getaway from this crazy situation with virus. Main reason why we chose this place is location and their cover picture of hot tub with a view of Verona Arena, I belive that this is main reason for most guests here. Upon our arrival i asked for pool (tub) working time and they informed me that unfortunately due to government decisions pool is closed from this monday to the end of November. (no word about that when we booked on Wednesday ), second day of our stay we went on roof to see the view of Arena and there were people bathing in hot tub???, we asked for an explanation at the reception and got an answer that from today they again allow use of pool but now they call that spa package and charge 15 euros per person??? I can understand that this weird times sometimes make changes in daily base but hotel management must make things right for their guest and not to left them feel cheated. Manager offered us use of pool in morning on our departure day!? and he expected us to pay even it was included in our stay!!! all this left a bitter taste on our stay... i gave it Very Good score because it is great place, modern, clean, great parking on location (overpriced 25 euros per day) perfect breakfast, extremely friendly staff... but...
