There was always a welcome breeze to keep us cool..There were little thoughtful extras in the villa that were appreciated like being able to use rafia baskets to take to the beach, having pillow rolls to use on the sunbed etc. The pool was lovely with large steps into it from both ends. "The first time I stayed at this hotel was three years ago, and I unfortunately had a better experience during that visit. This time, I was unaware that parking spaces now need to be reserved in advance. This information was not listed on the hotel’s website or Expedia, and we were not made aware of the requirement before arrival. When we asked where we could park, we were directed to areas about a five-minute walk away. Unfortunately, there appears to have been some miscommunication, possibly due to a language barrier, and we ended up parking in an area where we received a ticket. When we brought this to the hotel’s attention, we were disappointed that they were unable to offer any assistance or take responsibility. The massage therapist was wonderful, but the massage room itself could be improved. It is located next to a staff work and dishwashing area, so there was considerable noise during the treatment, including dishes and equipment being moved, buckets being dropped, and staff conversations. The massage table was also quite small and not very comfortable. Lastly, there was a noticeable musty/mold-like smell in the bathroom that made me wonder if there may be a moisture issue. I did not experience this in the larger family room during my previous stay. I’m still giving 4 stars for the great location, the kindness of receiving my packages weeks before arrival, and how easily accessible the hotel was via WhatsApp."

"It is a beautiful property. In general staff was friendly, amazing at the reception. I have to say that the staff at the buffet, specifically the managers are not the nicest. They are like police officers… We had a breakfast only bracelet, and the only night we decided to try their buffet for supper, we asked if we could go check the food before making a decision. They agreed, but we were “intercepted” twice while looking, and asked if we had a ticket. I understand that there can be people who abuse, but in such a nice hotel, it doesn’t seem to match the ambiance… We decided to book an excursion with the hotel to Bonifacio, Corsica. It was a nice one, but I have to say that the ‘lunch” part of the excursion was a total waste of precious time to visit, and I say this because the food at the restaurant was not good! I would prefer eating a sandwich and having more time to visit. Our guide Sara was delightful! We loved our stay!"

"The property was beautiful but the service was severely lacking. I would personally not define this hotel as a 5 star but definitely a good 4 star. Upon arrival there were no welcome drinks or any sort of welcome. We arrived early (which we had let the hotel know in advance due to this being the only flight into the island that day) and they were not able to accommodate an early check in which is completely understandable but instead we had to follow up with them 30 mins after the time of our check in to find out the room had been available and they did not notify us as they said they would so we had just been sitting around waiting. Breakfast was good. The room cleaning was bare minimum, one night they forgot to do our beds and just turned on the night lights. We had an insane amount of ANTS in our room and when we told the front desk about the issue they responded with “it’s nature”. They ended up sending a guy to spray down the room from insects and when we came back to our room there was a pile of dead ants that they didn’t clean up. We also had to remind them 3/5 days to refill our room water. There is no service at the pool and the bar by the pool took extremely long to make your drinks. Overall all the guests we spoke to seem to have had mutual feels about the hotel and the service. Truly not worth the premium price."

"Such a beautiful, peaceful place and the view is just stunning. Rooms are large and has all you need included in the Kitchenette to make your own food if you wish and also to store snacks and beverages. Town of Santa Teresa Gallura is about a 12 minute drive away which has beaches and restaurants, supermarkets, and a lively night scene (visited during august). Hotel also has a parking lot which is wonderful and you need a car if you’re staying there. Staff was very pleasant as well. Best thing is the view and peaceful area and resort grounds."
