"This isn't a 5* hotel nor is it trying to be! A beautiful Inn, freshly renovated with a great vibe. The staff and food can be described as exceptional. I understand how the reviews are so good and I'm happy to add to them."

"We had a lovely stay the room was ideal, atmosphere was lovely and the staff again could not do enough for you. Our evening meal was hot and delicious and the plates were warm too. We had a delicious breakfast but I found out that I had to pay for it, which was a little surprised, I thought it was all included when I booked the room. But overall very nice"
"Our room was very clean. We didn’t have a beach view however we enjoyed the stay albeit the hotel is undergoing renovation. Much of its features remain. I also believe that the show was absolutely first class plenty of hot water plenty of green towels."
"Great service, always made to feel welcome. Special shout out to Caitlyn in the restaurant who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable-thank you 😀😀"
"We booked a 2 night stay, with our daughter in order to be at a close friend's funeral service and wake. The hotel is ideally located to appreciate the view across the water, and to watch the comings and goings in the bay. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The public areas and therooms are lovely and clean. Parts of the hotel are ready for being refurbishment (which is about to take place) but it would be a shame if the whole project loses all of the period atmosphere of the present building. The bar was comfortable and the barman (owner/manager??) was very personable and amusing. In fact, all of the staff made us feel really welcome and were encouraging us to return after the refurbishment has been completed. "
"Clean and tidy, the room itself could have done with some aircon as my room was incredibly hot. The gym could use some free weights but other than that fantastic. "

8/10 Good
"Excellent location. Beautiful views. Easy short walk to the harbour. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Lovely garden. Very good value. Only two quibbles. Hot water tank barely capable of providing 5 showers in the morning. We were 6. Glad not 8. We cooked in the evenings. Lack of serving spoons "
"It was as nice as our memory of our first stay, when the sun shines there is only one place to be - on the terrace. Having said that it is very comfortable to be inside. It is a very friendly place to be to enjoy Cornwall."
"We loved the Hotel Tresanton. It was expensive but well worth it. We had room 26 which is very high so you should check the room number if you have any mobility issues. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was the highlight of our 24 day stay. Our server, Izzy in the bar was amazing. "
