Although we weren't happy with the location of the room we were initially assigned to, we expressed our concern to the staff and they quickly assigned us to a different room. Everything was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful."

"Had to call maintenance to lower air conditioner. He was very nice n patient. No hand or face towels in any of the washrooms. Asked for kettle to boil water and they gave us a pot. Our joint guests in next room had no soap or sharp pops in one of the bathroom. "

The staff has been very friendly and incredibly helpful - I happened to drop my phone in the flood during the sudden downpour, right before we were taking the taxi to the ferry terminal, one of the staff at El Blok saved my day by helping find it out, which I cannot appreciate more."
