"Our room at the Pointe had a large deck with a beautiful view of the Intercostal. The price was reasonable particularly for the area and was centrally located. Not many amenities (no gym, restaurant, bar) but it is a boutique hotel and doesn’t pretend to be anything more than that. "

"Super clean room and bathroom, and the location is great. Just to set expectations: this place is perfect for one person — a couple would be playing real-life Tetris. That said, the outdoor area more than makes up for the room size. It’s really well done and a great place to relax. The pool is big and beautiful, but it’s not heated, so if it’s “Florida chilly” (aka t-shirt weather for Northerners), swimming is off the table. One heads-up: there’s nowhere to hang clothes — no closet, no wardrobe, no rod — so anything that needs a hanger will be living the folded life. All that aside, this place is a great bang for the buck, clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again. "
