Great location in one of the upscale communities at a reasonable price. The building is historic and resembles the European decor. Staff is so friendly, you feel you're appreciated and will want to come back!

Older building but clean room, excellent bedding, kitchenette was very helpful. Professional staff, warm pool, nice outdoor space with lots of seating options, close to the beach, a supermarket and basically everything you need, very safe area, walking trail along the lake nearby.lake very close

It was extremely clean and comfortable. My room was stocked with lots of extras like beach towels, beach chairs, sun screen, coffee, quality hair dryer, toothpaste, shampoo, and many other extras. I loved the beautiful pool area! The staff very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at this property several times as it is so centrally located and well run. This room was by far my favorite as it has windows facing the street and charming decor. I’ll definitely book it again!

This location is a cute boutique-like hotel, and our room was adorable. With the exception of some loose tile in the bathroom, the room was in great condition with every amenity available. With free valet and an on-site pool, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, alongside kind staff, we felt pampered. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice place for the price, easy check in process and great communication with host if we needed anything. Building is a little outdated but is charming, and overall enjoyed our stay. Pool area is nice and some of the staff are friendly.

Pros: Great location. Within walking distance to grocery shopping and restaurants. Lake trail and beach are also walkable. Heated pool is a nice touch for a cool January stay. The one bedroom suite we stayed is nicely decorated with a nice kitchenette for simple cooking. Bed is comfortable. Cons: Checkin was a bit confusing because this is a condo complex with different companies managing the rooms. We did not even see a sign that says “The Tropicals” outside the building and we didn’t receive any pre-checkin instructions. POOR soundproofing. You can easily hear people cough and talk nextdoor. As someone who never had trouble sleeping, I was awakened by loud and passionate noise at 1:42 am followed by long phone conversations, two nights in a row. When the loud lovers checked out, the room nextdoor was occupied by a group of girls who enjoyed late night chatting and giggling. I could hear every word! So if you are a light sleeper which I am NOT, you better think twice before booking here or pray you will be lucky with a quiet neighbor like me.
