Parking is a bit tight as the property is on an estate road, but with the help of kind neighbours we managed our two cars absolutely fine. "Perfect stay. Such welcoming hosts. Property was easy to find, so beautifully decorated, and very quiet. Our room, like the whole property, was pristine. So many thoughtful touches, like the torch next to the bed in case you use the bathroom in the night. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a really comfy bed. And breakfast - vegan, gluten, and normal options, freshly cooked, delicious. Will definitely stay again. Thank you"

"Room was nice. We were annoyed that we had to pay £10 per night parking and the hotel wanted £15.00 per head for breakfast. We ate elsewhere. Manager was blaming Expedia however Portland web site does not explain the ectra payments either. GM kept calling me Mr Tom instead of Mr Slater or Tom. Saw a drug exchange in car park. Will not be staying again. "
