"Great place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. 10 minute walk to Riverside and 5 minutes to Hagley Park. Rooms are kept clean and the bed is comfy. Pretty good diner for breakfast. Not sure of cost but it’s comparable with other hotels I’ve stayed at in CHC. Out of the 3 or 4 different hotels I’ve stayed in there the Wyndham is my fave! "

"The room had plenty of space. it was clean and tastefully furnished. The staff were very helpful and easy to talk to. The bus stop to the city was just outside the property and that made it easy to get around without driving. The laundry was clean and tidy."

"There's always a slight hesitation in booking unknown economy accommodation in an unfamiliar city. Our weekend in Christchurch was undoubtedly enhanced by staying in this really pleasant motel. The staff were really accommodating and helpful and our room was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Free onsite parking was a bonus in a city location.They even retrieved some coats we accidentally left in the wardrobe - thank you, once again. "
