A good location near the botanical gardens. Clean and comfortable with good kitchen. A very enjoyable stay. A little out of the town centre but an easy walk.

Perfect place to stay in Christchurch

Always a warm comfortable stay . We called to advise late check in and Grant had our unit warm and welcoming when we arrived. So clean and everything we need for sn overnight stay . Highly recommend.

Great service and location

Great accommodation near the centre of Christchurch with easy access to botanic gardens, city centre and super restaurants. Lovely spotlessly clean rooms with great facilities Grant, the owner, was the most friendly and helpful guy you could meet giving us a long list of handy hints and tips that really made our trip One of our best stays on our 3 week trip to NZ

Absolutely loved this motel! My favourite in ChCh so far and I've stayed in a few! The bed was super comfortable and I loved the two chairs and side table to sit looking out the window when the afternoon sun came through. The room was light and bright and had such a good feel. Lovely leafy green outlook. Great little kitchenette. The staff were amazing. Even though it is on busy Bealey Ave the noise was minimal. I will absolutely be staying here again the next time I am in ChCh.

A real gem

Clean, spacious, comfortable bed, pillows and lounge chairs, helpful friendly hosts, what was not to like about this property. In addition, secure off street parking and walking distance to restaurants and city sights. Will not hesitate to recommend.

Highly recommended

This motel unit was just wonderful. Easy walking distance to shops, parks and attractions. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Host was friendly and helpful regarding local map and recommended directions to attractions etc. Off street parking. Reasonable price to stay. Small well equipped kitchenette allowed us to prepare our own meals. Would recommend this motel to others or stay here again if we were in Christchurch.

We have stayed at this property many times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculately cleaned. There is no heat pump or air conditioner in the room, it’s the only thing I can fault with this motel. It is quite hot in Summer, but they do provide a good cooling fan.

Everything we wanted

Friendly and helpful hosts. Clean, and serviced daily. Comfortable bed. Spacious: room for a couple of easy chairs plus a small dining table and two chairs. TV with 50 channels, including several SKY sports. Small kitchenette with sink, kettle, fridge microwave (glass dish to heat food), toaster and electric frying pan - ideal for simple meals. Walking distance to Christchurch centre and the botanic gardens. On-site parking. Laundry available -$2.50 per wash or dryer - washing line available. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. We got the #29 bus from the airport to a stop a short walk away on Victoria Street - only $2. The property is on a busy road, but it didn't disturb our sleep. Very good value.
