We liked the facilities in our room, for example - the kitchen/dining area had a stove(unique), microwave, toaster, kettle, nice crockery and cutlery. A table and chairs for 4, a settee (unique), so well appointed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower (no bath) was spacious, a nice sized sink unit too and toilet of course. The bedroom also was spacious, with a built in wardrobe, and chest of drawers. The parking for our room was a little tricky, but generally the parking was typical of motels.

This motel is in a nice location, close enough to easily walk to Riccarton Bush, Mona Vale gardens, and also a decently long enough walk to the Botanical Gardens. The rooms were clean, and quiet, and have wood-framed windows in an older style which was really quite charming. The property is well-maintained, and the staff are nice.
