volleyball count along the Rhine. We lucked out and experienced a local wine festival with amazing local wines and food. The town is definitely walkable with tons of shops and restaurants to choose from for all tastes. "

"I found this hotel to be a good place to stay when in Mainz, Germany. It is conveniently located near a local train station and walking distance from the old town (Alstadt) and Rhine river front. My hotel room was spacious (the bathroom was pretty small though) but I guess for a single occupancy, it's okay. There was no fridge (or microwave) but all the other amenities were there and they were good. The bed was comfortable. The window allowed good amount of light and had a decent view. The...

in front of the patio that nobody would expect in this region. unfortunately, the many smokers cause an odor even in the rooms and the old carpet doesn’t help. My room was located next the linen room. Rattling carts and a banging door wike me up at 6 am. "
