What a wonderful stay! The hotel and property are absolutely lovely, and the staff are top notch. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful and made every effort to make us comfortable. We felt so welcome!

Wonderful treat
Love this place. Bed and pillows so inviting. Charming, clean, comfortable and able to bring my dog to the restaurant was an added plus. The grounds were wonderful for walking my dog off the leash. Highly recommend

Wonderful hotel
Les Crayeres is exceptional. From the professional staff to the Michelin restaurant to the beautifully furnished room, we were comfortable all of the time. English speaking friendly staff. Walkable to Veuve Cliquot and Pommery, two of the oldest woman-owned businesses in the world.

It is a beautiful property, but keep in mind the kind of people who will be staying in a place that costs usually $700-1100 a night: pretentious and less pleasant. The culture may not be what you have in mind. Also, we paid $100 for a club sandwich and two glasses of Champagne at their bar when we wanted a light snack. It was gorgeous but there is not much to do in the hotel. In addition, when booking, be sure to note that you are in the main hotel, not cottage. It costs the exact same and you feel like a third class citizen who is not good enough to stay in main hotel. They werent responsible for this issue, but when you are booking, just double check. Also, and perhaps this is an issue all over France, but is hard to get the front desk to help with things like reservations. Ultimately, they helped, which I am thankful for, but they were unwilling to call Veuve for us because “they had not made the booking.” So if i have any advice, have them make all your booking so they can then feel responsible to help you with them. All this said, there is a lovely older woman with a short bob cut that was kind to us all the way through. Merci to her.

Regarding your booking at the Cottage, it is indeed specified on the website and in the confirmation e-mail our reservation team sends you that it is not located inside the Château but in the quiet and cozy Cottage overlooking the park and with a nice view on the Château. We are sorry you felt less important because you stayed in the Cottage, our guests receive the same care and attention from our staff and the decoration and furniture are chosen with the same level of requirement and attention to detail as for the rooms located in the Château. Our guests usually enjoy the Cottage as it is a quiet and cosy bubble with all the same amenities and services as the Château.We would be happy to welcome you again and, this time, maybe in one of our rooms located in the Château if this is more to your liking.Sincerely,

Les Crayeres is a beautiful property. Elegant and luxurious without being too stuffy. The entire team is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The concierge team were very responsive and were able to book most of our requests. It isn’t inexpensive; you get what you pay for. We are at Le Jardin and had a lovely meal. We at at Le Parc which was a different story. I’ll message the restaurant to explain in more detail but we were less than pleased. It was the one hiccup in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Stay was great. Food was exceptional. Service was poor. I expected better service in such a highly rated restaurant. Staff seemed overworked with little attention to detail. For example we asked for tea after dinner, they showed us the options and then placed the tea bags on the table and brought us hot water to infuse the tea ourselves. Waiting for service took long. We waited 30 mins from the time we were done to when we received our bill.

Milestone birthday celebration at Les Crayeres
Amazing stay at Les Crayeres. Very welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our stay. Our room in the chateau was clean and extremely comfortable. Dinner at Le Parc , the 2 Michelin star restaurant on the property was truly an innovative and exceptional experience . Restaurant staff were very professional and accomodating. This is a tremendous property. Magnificent grounds, beautiful and large rooms, terrific dining room and bar. Over everything is the Managing Director Arnaud Valary, who personally ensures that everyone is taken care of. One of the greatest hotels we have ever experienced.

The Place to Stay in Reims
Took the train straight from CDG airport in Paris and got off at the Reims Maison Blanche stop. Don’t do this. Better to get off at Champagne Ardenne stop because there is an actual station there. Called the hotel and they came and picked us up. After checking in we were served a glass of Champagne with some finger foods. A great start. Hotel is filled with history as it is former private home of the Pommery family. Room was very nice, only complaint was that it was too warm in our room and the only way to cool down was to open the windows. Dinner at La Parc restaurant was excellent although pricey. What they don’t tell you and we had to ask (several times) is if you are a guest of the hotel they do not bring a check to your table. Service is outstanding. If you are coming to Reims, this is the place to stay.

Photos don't do this castle justice
The castle-turned-hotel was breathtaking, with photos not doing it justice. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was quieter and probably better for other guests as we had a 2-yr-old with us. The two restaurants in the hotel (one a formal 2-star and the other a bit more casual but still multi-course and fabulous) were probably the best we tried in Champagne. Just an exquisite property.

Amazing Hotel, staff couldn’t be any more helpful! The room was perfect, great bed and in a perfect location if your on a champagne tour. After staying at many 5 star hotels, this is one of the best so far.
