"The property is beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only criticism was the food. The menu is extensive and appealing, but the food was not well cooked. Lots of room for improvement. It was a disappointment because the dining room and the pub room were extremely comfortable and relaxing. However, we would definitely plan a return visit, but would dine out."
"A recently opened hotel, the interior design is stunning. The staff, especially Ben on Reception, really couldn’t have more or being more friendly. The boardwalk across the water into town makes it a simple quick stroll. The foundry restaurant in the hotel serves lovely evening meals and breakfast, and downstairs has also a bakers for lighter breakfast and coffees. There is a TV show about the hotels renovations? I think it might be called The County????"
"Folks, these 10 rooms at a small boutique hotel are nothing less than breathtaking. Beautifully decorated, absolutely everything that you need, right in the heart of Picton. I would highly recommend. In addition… 90 metres from Bocado (Spanish restaurant) that is worthy of the Michelin Guide. 250 metres from a Portuguese breakfast and sandwich restaurant called Luso that is beyond perfection. This is a real gem in the wine country. Do all three and I promise a memorable stay and culinary experience. Hope all of this helps. Don’t hesitate…. Just do it!!!"
"What a lovely property. Staff are amazing very friendly and very helpful. Although the restaurant is closed the breakfast was very good and plentiful. Would definitely recommend "
