Glenghorm Beach Resort

8/10 Good
"This is a charming old fashioned beach resort. The restaurant is very good, there's a nice beach, and several options for rooms or cabins. It is family-friendly. It isn't fancy, but the staff are friendly and it is clean and comfortable. It is convenient for visitors to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. At night, the stars are fantastic."

"Adorable property overlooking the water in Chéticamp. Self-checkin was simple. The room was quaint with lots of little extras including a fridge filled with complimentary flavored seltzer, bottled water, real creamers and a Nespresso machine. Also a basket of candy and treats. The breakfast room was a help yourself with granola bars, yogurt and more drinks. We did not use the outdoor hot tubs but did sit on the Adirondack chairs on the front porch overlooking the marina. Highly recommend."

"Our one night stay in this hotel on the Cabot Trail was lovely. Clean, comfortable and a wonderful included hot breakfast. Views from the patio and breakfast room of the water & hills/mountains were stunning. If you were lucky enough to have that view from your room even better. How a room look out front at the Cabot Trail."

"Gorgeous location with private beach. Highly recommend. However, disappointed the hot tub not working when we were there (likely another guest shut it off accidentally they said). One other small quibble: we were strangely given only three plates, three bowls. For the price point, I think they need not be so stingy on the dishes. Having said that, nicely maintained, gorgeous location."
