Perfectly perched in the heart of Caversham - a vibrant and charming suburb of Reading, Berkshire on the north bank of the River Thames, the property is perfectly placed with easy access to Reading, London, Oxford, Windsor and major motorway routes.
*** Inside *** You'll be welcomed with a warm, cosy, open-plan living/dining and kitchen area, each beautifully and individually styled with modern comforts and quirky charm. With exposed brickwork, original pieces of art and eclectic accents, The Lodge provides a unique stay with oodles of character and hidden surprises.
As you explore the property you'll discover our vintage finds and curiosities from local emporiums to pique your interest.
Starting in the living room you can be sure to unwind with a book from our backyard bookswap cupboard, enjoy some gaming time on the Xbox 360, get lost in a good boxset on the TV, or turn up the tunes on the Roberts Radio and have a kitchen disco.
Whip up a delicious feast in the modern kitchen complete with all the facilities you need for your stay such as: a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine and more. We even leave you some essentials in a complimentary welcome hamper to start your stay off without the mad dash to the local shop for milk.
Dust off the day in our petite but perfectly formed shower room with luxury bath products and a sumptuous rain shower.
Retire to an oasis of calm. Painted in soothing green and pink tones inspired by nature and bathed in natural light, the main bedroom features a king size bed (can be made into a twin), distressed style vintage dresser and large french doors that open onto your gravelled sun terrace with garden views. You may even get a peek at our resident budgerigars.
*** Step Outside *** And enjoy your morning coffee on your south facing sun terrace and take in a bit of bird spotting. Or tucked away at the front of the property hides a private and secluded courtyard - ideal for a cheeky peaceful evening prosecco under the stars or a shaded afternoon barbeque.
This property offers easy contactless self-check in/out and the entire place is yours alone to enjoy!
*** Check In/Check Out *** You are welcome to check into The Lodge from 3pm. On your departure day check-out is 10am, but if you would like to enjoy The Lodge for a little longer just let us know before booking and we can arrange a late check-out for £25 per hour. Please note we can only offer a late check out until 12pm. We look forward to welcoming you to The Lodge.
