"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Pastel Cottage. The listing was accurate and I felt comfortable there, which is saying a lot for me in Memphis. We were able to travel to Mud Island easily so we could visit relatives there. There were lots of little touches which made our stay more enjoyable: a coffee bar with needed supplies and snacks, easy instructions for using Alexa, nice bath mats, and plenty of items like hangers towels, and tissue. The home was clean and spacious. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Some helpful tips for travelers. If you are a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine or use the free app on your phone or you will hear the highway traffic. This is an older home so there aren’t outlets in the bathroom. There is an extension cord in the bedroom near a full length mirror that is great for use with hair appliances. It was an easy convenient option. All in all, this was a great place to spend a few days. "

"This was such a great space! It was perfect for a long weekend visiting our sons at U of Memphis. This home was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. We did not prepare meals in the kitchen, but we absolutely could have; it was well-equipped. Water pressure in the shower was great, and the beds were very comfortable. The location of this home is excellent if you’re visiting the University of Memphis. It’s super-close! It’s also only a short drive to Overland Park and the city. Very convenient! "

"The host was friendly and the place was clean. However, there were several pieces of the place falling apart and/or missing (broken chair, broken door handles, broken light switches, no smoke or carbon monoxide alarms but holes where they should have been, and no blanket for fourth bed) and there was a neighbor who, frankly, with his knowledge of the exact home specifications down to missing nails, interest in guest’s activities, and blatant window peeping, can be classified as a stalker. "
