"The hotel was very loud and between the people upstairs, the motion light shining in the window every time someone approached, and someone trying to enter my room around 10 pm, I could not sleep. I did not feel safe. We booked 2 rooms but only used one because I felt unsafe being separated. They prepared a box breakfast for us but none of it was edible. There were a lot of bugs in our room as well. Lastly, there are far too many stairs up to the rooms. "

"It's often hard to review a stay when you've only had the pleasure of staying one night, however there were definitely some stand out points which made Sumaq worthy of its rating. Firstly staff are lovely, and as we arrived on the earlier train into Aguas Calientes they offered us an early check-in, greatly appreciated. One o the lady was their at railway station to pick us up which was surprise. great esture. we jsut stayed night and need to leave in morning. they were ok to extend lunch period by 15 min (8.15). we needed to rush to bus stop to catch our machupich bus. they were helpful to keep luggage for few hours. overall good expereince."
