"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, easy to park, easy to check in. Our corner room had an incredible view of the bay...perfect. The bed was so comfy! A coffee counter and bar located near the check-in desk. Bag check available if not wanting to go up to your room immediately. The hotel is near Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, not far from the Golden Gate Bridge and park...a great place to make your home base when visiting San Francisco."

"The street is very narrow. There was convenient off street parking. Odd kitchen setup. Hot plate type induction cooking, toaster oven and microwave-no oven or range. Nice large TV but only a futon on a side wall so not set up for a relaxing living space or to watch TV comfortably. Comfortable bed. No shoes allowed in the house which was off putting."

"Over all the stay was positive for the price. The neighborhood was safe, we had front parking the whole time we were there which was a plus and it had all the basics. There is a small market/liquor store in walking distance. The unit is small, walls thin, and bed could use an upgraded mattress but there were no major complaints unless you are expecting luxury, it is not. The host communicated well (although I did have to request info). It worked for us because we spent most of the day out and about. "

"They have down graded their breakfast offerings. Was looking forward to some warm scrambled eggs instead of cold hard boiled. But still like the Stanton because of the staff. "

"Small parking lot, but very convenient. Right on the coast / the water, great walking, beautiful view. Hot water issues. No hot water in the room. Small coffee pot was broken and didn't brew coffee. :( Beds and pillows were GREAT. Clean. Comfortable. Clean towels. Soap and lotion. AC worked very nicely. The room was far more spacious than we thought. Mini-fridge! It worked great. The hotel, overall, is loud. It is adjacent to the train. Not a huge deal, but for light sleepers, may be an issue. Check out = EASY and fast. Overall, cost-effective and if you are looking for a positive, but "economy" experience, this is it. Close to SFSU!"
