Wonderful location in Old Quebec. No car needed. We realized there was no elevator and a spiral stair case, but what 1899 building has one? Staff was very helpful with handling our luggage. Just a perfect, quiet place to stay.

Very small room (1 queen). Narrow, winding stairs for 1st-3rd floors. Really old building charm! Excellent location for walking everywhere around the old city.

Au Petit Hotel was a perfect budget stay for a night or two - extremely well located, being a minute or two walk away from the lively streets of the Old City, while also being quiet, quaint, and convenient. The parking lot was a huge plus, and overall, a fantastic stay. Would absolutely return and recommend to any travelers, but in particular, to couples or solo travelers.

Quiet and charming spot in an excellent location. The side street is especially inviting. Some furnishings are worn but everything is comfortable and very useful. (Appreciated the tiny table and chairs where I could have my morning coffee seated at a table.) My next hotel was very modern with remote check in, no staff onsite, and modern but poorly designed furniture so I found myself instantly missing the comfort of this hotel.

Pro’s: Location. Close to the main attractions in Upper and Lower Town. Many restaurants, cafe’s and shoppe’s nearby, offering a very wide variety of food. Daily room service was good and there was a microwave and dishes/utensils out in hallway common area. Hotel was quiet. Uber accessibility and response was very fast. Con’s: Hotel is OLD and does not show well IMHO. Fixtures, doors, windows, etc were in poor condition, electrical wiring on surface of walls and few plug ins. Our room was tiny, hardly enough room for storing 2 sets of luggage with no dresser’s etc, just a very small table and 2 chairs. Bathroom was tiny but clean, sink was outside of toilet/shower closet but no counter and a non GFI plug in directly over sink…? For the $’s we paid, we expected much more. Unrelated to hotel, restaurant meals were EXPENSIVE! We were a couple, not big eaters and could not find ANY meal for less than $70 Cdn with tip included. A couple of restaurants the service was very poor, we got up and left in one establishment after being seated and ignored for 20 minutes…one server on duty on during a morning breakfast rush.
